Penelope Season 1 2006
Meet Penelope, an adorable blue Koala bear who loves to learn, play and even be mischievous from time to time. Based upon the lovely French picture book series by Anne Gutman and Georg Hallensleben, this CGI animation series depicts the daily life and adventures of Penelope. Children can learn, think and laugh along with Penelope!
1. Penelope Gets Dressed by Herself
One morning, Penelope tries to get dressed by herself. She finy makes it after many complications and is ready for kindergarten. However, her parents tell her it's Sunday. Penelope doesn't care because she doesn't need to change for kindergarten the next morning.
2. Penelope at School
It's the painting day in kindergarten and Penelope is excited. Her head is full of ideas and her painting becomes so big filled up with beautiful colors.
3. Penelope Takes a Bath
In the evening after Penelope is played out, she takes a bath with her Doudou and gets ready for bed. Penelope tries to read a book but before she finishes a story, she is already in her dream.
4. Penelope Makes Sketches
It's a sunny day and Penelope is out chasing a butterfly. She finds her grandfather painting. Penelope also wants to paint as well but her models don't stay still. The cloud which keep changing its shapes to a different animal, a cat who wakes up from a nap and walks of. So she goes home and ends up drawing them on a crepe with a chocolate sauce. It's much better painting and tastier too!
5. Penelope Seeds
Penelope is out in her garden and sees her father planting. She learns that a flower grows from a single seed. So she, with her canning mind, plants a candy hoping that it would grow to be a candy flower.
6. Penelope Rides a Bicycle
Penelope has just learned how to ride a bike. With excitement, she rides an uneasy road. She rides thorough a puddle, surprises a sleeping cat, and races a chenging dog. She finy loses her balance and fs. Got some bandages for some scars but she likes biking still.
7. Penelope Feeds
It's feeding time for the animals in Penelope's Grandfather's farm. But her grandfather is taking a nap under a tree. So Penelope decides to feed them herself. Does she know which food to give to what animals? She goes with a cart full of food. She gives bread to a cat, meat to some chickens, and a carrot to a dog. The animals grab their favored food from Penelope's cart!
8. Penelope Shops
Penelope goes shopping with her mum. Getting too excited and running so fast, she loses her mother. She knows that her mother needs to pick up a "parcel," but she doesn't know which shop gives out a "parcel." Penelope goes to a bakery, a florist, a drug store, and everyone gives her a little present in each shop but not a parcel.
9. Penelope in the Snow
Penelope' s family is on a Skiing holiday. Waking up in a cottage up on the mountain full of snow, she goes out and tries to make a snowman first thing in the morning. She rolls the snow chunk but goes too fast and she starts rolling down with the snowb. After some trouble, she completes her snowman with the help from her dog. Then she goes on sliding and skiing with her father.
10. Penelope Opens a Store
Penelope is out playing. She finds a field full of flowers. She decides to collect some flowers and open up a little florist under an apple tree. She tries to sell them to a grasshopper and a little bird but gets no interest. There comes her friend Lilly Rose. She likes the flowers and decides to trade them for an apple.
11. Penelope Goes to the Sea
Penelope is spending her summer holiday in her grandfather's villa. Her grandparents tell her to get ready to go to the beach. What does she need to go to a beach? Is it gloves? Is it a coat? No, it's the bathing suits. Penelope imagines herself diving in to the sea.
12. Penelope Plays at Sea
Penelope is at the beach with her grandparents. She is swimming excitedly in the sea. Next, she's at the shore playing with a beach b. She sees some pretty shells and starts to collect them. She also finds a shiny bottle top which she rey likes. The shinny bottle top together with the shells, she buries them like a secret treasure and she builds a sand pyramid on top of them.
13. Penelope is Polite
Penelope is in the kindergarten and it's almost time to go home. Her mother comes and picks her up. Her mother tells Penelope not to forget to say goodbye to her teacher and friends. With a happy voice, she says goodbye to everyone. At home, she is chasing her cat but accidenty she steps on its tail and fs. Her father asks her what to say when she feels sorry.
14. Playing with Colors
At the kindergarten, Penelope and her friends are playing. The teacher tells them it's time to play "find the color" game. The teacher cs out the color and they have to find the thing with that color. She cs out "Yellow!" What's yellow? The raincoat, wood block, and their pet cockatoo. Next, with blue and then green. At home, Penelope plays "find the color" with her parents.
15. Penelope Sings
Penelope is taking a walk in the park with her parents. She wants to perform a song, which she learnt in school. It's a song about animals but she can't remember the correct lyrics. She is imagining each animal and how they move. An elephant, a rabbit, a cat, a fish, a camel... Slowly she remembers the song, and she sings it loud and well in front of her parents.
16. It's Delicious Penelope
Penelope is reaching for some candies. She picks up a candy but her parents come out with the dinner. To not to lose her appetite, she sadly gives up her candy. The tonight's menu is the gratin which is her favorite. There's some soup on the side but she doesn't seem to like it much. Dessert awaits and she thinks of feeding the soup to her cat so she won't have to finish it herself.
17. Penelope Tidies Up Her Room
Penelope is in her room reading. Around her, there are many toys scattered around over the place. She plays with some toys and gets even messier. Her mother comes and suggests that she should tidy up a bit. She puts the books back to the shelf. Some crayons into the box. But she gets bored so she decides to hide her toys and mess under her duvet.
18. Good Night, Penelope
It's almost bedtime but Penelope is still playing with her toys. Her father tells her to change into her pajama and be ready for bed. She decides to wear it on top of her clothes so that after saying good night to her parents, she can take it off and continue playing. But when she is trying to put some pajama on top of her clothes, her parents walks in and catches her.
19. Hide and Seek
Today, Penelope and her friends are at a ranch. They decide to play "hide and seek." She finds her friends pretty quickly but also finds that one of the piglets is running away. She chases the piglet and finy catches it. Everyone thinks she has hid rey well but she is just fell into to some straw after chasing and fing with the piglet.
20. Grandpa's Birthday
Penelope comes home and find out it's her grandpa's birthday. Her mother is preparing for a birthday party and she gets rey excited. She sees her mother's present and wants to know what's inside. But she has to wait till the party starts. Penelope decides to wrap a present herself. She thinks her candy would be a nice present but finds out she ate them yesterday!
21. Penelope Makes Cookies
Penelope is in the kitchen with her friends and her mother. They are prepared to bake some cookies. They got some eggs, butter, sugar, and flour. With some difficulty and much mess, they successfully make some dough. The most fun part is when they can make their own shapes with the dough. They tidy up the kitchen while the cookies are being baked. The beautiful cookies come out and taste good!
22. Milo and Madeleine
Penelope hears her doorbell and goes and opens the door. She sees a pair of children with the same face. They are Milo and Madeleine and they are twins. They are Penelope's cousins and they came with auntie Mari-Christine. The kids play hide and seek but Penelope has a hard time figuring out who is who. Which is Milo and which is Madeleine?
23. Penelope Naps
Penelope is at the kindergarten and playing with Lilly Rose. Their teacher tells them it's a naptime. Everyone jumps into his/her duvet. Penelope has a hard time sleeping. Lilly Rose who is already almost asleep tells Penelope if she counts some sheep, it would help her f asleep. Penelope counts some sheep but still can't sleep. Cesarine tells her it works better with ducks.
24. School Carnival
At Kindergarten, Penelope is playing a tambourine. There are also sounds of some drums, horns, and cymbals played by her friends. It's the carnival day tomorrow at the kindergarten so they are practicing hard. At home, Penelope is still practicing her tambourine with some can lid. The next day back at the kindergarten, everyone is wearing his/her own outfit.
25. Christmas Present
Penelope and her friends are surrounding a Christmas tree and decorating at their kindergarten, wishing that Santa Claus would come to their homes. At night in Penelope's home, she stays awake and decides to wait for Santa Claus by the window. Thinking that Santa Claus would be hungry after the rounds, Penelope brings out candies for him to take when he comes!
26. School Excursion
At home, Penelope is preparing for the kindergarten excursion. With the help from her mother, she puts sandwiches, some drink and sweets in her bag. Lilly Rose comes to pick her up. With her friends and her teacher, Penelope goes to the big park in the forest. There are a big lake, some flower fields and the playground. After the playing time, they enjoy their lunch and sweets together.

27. Merry Christmas, Penelope
It's time for the family Christmas party. Penelope helps her father to decorate the rooms. What would be the perfect decorations on the Christmas tree for Penelope's twin cousins Milo and Madeleine? Matching ornaments! What about for grandfather and grandmother? Stuffed animal and hat that they gave Penelope as a gift! Penelope's mother prepares a roast beef and a beautiful cake.
28. Christmas Party
The party has begun. Everyone's enjoying good food. Penelope and her cousins excitingly open the presents. A tricycle! A toy plane, picture book, and stuffed animal! A maracas! Penelope gets something yellow and black-striped. Is it a tiger? A snake? No, it's a honeybee costume! She puts it on and starts to buzz. Penelope, the honeybee!
29. Let's Close the Door, Penelope
Penelope comes out of the house to go meet with Cesarine. Mom helps Penelope, who shivers in a cold wind, to zip up her coat. In the car, she closes the bottle cap after spilling water. While drawing with Cesarine, her pens and caps lie around everywhere so they close the caps. Penelope goes to a toilet at bedtime, but the door is wide open!
30. Penelope Learns Different Shapes
After learning about shapes at the kindergarten, Penelope practices them at home. Which one is round? Is it a cat? No, cat is not always round. It's a mirror on the w! Which one is square? Is it a sofa or fish bowl? It's a cage for the pet hamster! Which one is triangle? Is it a tomato or flower? No, it's a tent! At the end, Penelope and her cousins review shapes with chocolate biscuits.
31. Let's Be Quiet, Penelope
Penelope starts to daydream after being told by her mom not to draw on a w and to be quiet in the early morning. Let's draw on the w behind the curtain! How about drawing on a floor or sofa? Let's also turn the clock back and forward including mom & dad's alarm clock! Putting the earplugs into their ears will be a great idea, too! How impish she is, but it's only her naughty dream.
32. Let's Hold Hands, Penelope
Penelope is told to leave Doudou at home when going for a walk but she secretly plans to take Doudou with her. Putting it in the knit cap, sweater or pants' pocket will be great ideas! At the moment she tries to put Doudou in a pocket, mom comes by so she fails. On the road, she finds a puddle and jumps in. Her parents come and hold her hand, so she will not get wet and muddy.
33. It's Bed Time, Penelope
Her mom tells Penelope to brush her teeth, take a bath and be ready for bed, but she wants to eat a lollipop. She imagines of switching the toothbrush with lollipop and rinsing water with orange juice. When she opens the refrigerator to get the orange juice, her mom comes by. Mission fails! She also imagines to put lots of soap and dive into the bath so she can fly to the sky with the bubbles.
34. Penelope Makes a Bird House
Penelope wants to befriend with birds and plans to make a birdhouse. What is the birdhouse like? What is it made from? Is it a cardboard or tin can? She puts some fabric scraps into her dad's shoe but birds are not coming so she asks her dad to make a birdhouse with a fluffy bed, swing, and a merry-go-round! The birdhouse dad made is simpler, but the birds seem to like their new home.
35. Penelope's Birthday
It's Penelope's birthday. Her dad is baking a chocolate cake and her mom is preparing a nice meal for her birthday party and helping Penelope to put a special dress. Many of her friends come to celebrate, and she receives lots of nice presents. She even receives a c from her uncle in Egypt and a letter from her aunt in North Pole. Let's sing a birthday songs together and make a wish!
36. Penelope Skates
Penelope makes a snowman on the yard with her friends. They then go to skating. Cesarine and her dad skate well. Penelope jumps out to the ice skate rink but slips. With a help from Cesarine, she starts to skate little by little. Lili-Rose skates gracefully, but Stromboli slips up like Penelope and spins. Aladin cannot take his hand off the bar but finy stands by himself!
37. Penelope Names Piglets
Penelope is visiting grandpa's farm. He asks her to name the piglets which are about to be born. What will be the best names for the piglets? "Flitter!" Well, pigs do not flitter like a butterfly. "Quack!" Well, pigs do not quack. Then she sees a field of dandelions. How pretty and beautiful they are! "Dandelion" will be a perfect name for a little pig and "Puffb," too!
38. Charms for Good Dreams
When Penelope is having a nightmare, her dad gives her an old book and sings a song to have a good dream. In her dream, with the help of charms, Penelope and her friends become pretty butterflies and color white flowers with paintbrush. Then she enters to the ice world where Cesarine and penguins are playing. After that, she enters a forest on a mammoth as the queen of the jungle.
39. Happy Hoween
It's almost Hoween. There are so many costumes to choose from, and Penelope chooses to be a witch. With the hand-me-down witch hat and cape from mom and a sm bloom, she excitingly jumps around. On the Hoween day, everyone comes to the kindergarten with their special costume; Aladin as mummy, Stromboli as ghost, Cesarine as fairy, and Lili-Rose as the Jack-O-Lantern
40. Penelope's Museum
Penelope and her friends are on a field trip to a museum. They are captivated by fine art, and decide to make their own museum. At the kindergarten, Penelope makes a giraffe with clay. Cesarine and Lili-Rose paints a boat and red apples. Aladin makes armor with cardboard. Stromboli makes a pyramid with wood block, but fs apart. Penelope's giraffe does not stand because of its big head!
41. Fun with Weather
What do you do on a sunny day? Penelope dashes across the field with a dog and catches a ladybug. On a windy day, she spins a windmill and flies a kite with her dad. On rainy day, she looks outside from the living room. The spider web looks pretty with raindrops, and there are snails on a leaf. Penelope pretends to be a snail by putting a round tin can on her back. She enjoys drawing, too.
42. Penelope's Family Concert
Penelope finds a trumpet on a table and start practicing. She can only hit "Do" but enjoys playing. One Sunday, Penelope's family get together to have a concert. Her cousin Merlin, Milo and Madeleine play recorder, and xylophone. Aunt Marie-Christine plays flute, and Uncle Nicholas plays violin. Her mom plays the piano, and dad plays the cello.
43. Penelope Fishes
Penelope learns how to fish from her grandpa at the lake. She is amazed by the way he observes the bobber carefully and catches fish. While he fs asleep, she accidently knocks over a bucket and releases the fish so she decides to catch a fish by herself. Although she imagines catching many fishes, the bobber does not move one bit. At last, her fishing rod is pulled strongly.
44. F Harvesting Party
It's f harvesting time at grandpa's farm. Lots of crops are on the table such as potatoes, pears, chestnuts, and pumpkin! Grandpa asks Penelope to pick grapes but she does not know where the grapes come from so she pulls the green leaves on the ground. Well, a carrot comes out instead! They compete on who pick more grapes. By the end of the day, there's a party with pie and fresh juice.
45. Penelope's First Errand
Penelope decides to deliver mom's homemade chocolate cookies to grandparents by herself. It is her first errand! She bravely leaves the house, but her worried parents are secretly following her! Her journey is fine till she starts following a flying boon then line of ants. She gets lost! With the help of Lili-Rose and her mom, she finds her way, but forgets the cookies!
46. Penelope Helps Dad
Penelope offers to help her dad planting the flowers. What can she do? He asks her to go to the barn to pick up his black garden gloves. She is so proud of herself being a big helper. A search in the barn is fun. She finds interesting items like fins for swimming, a totem pole...and a scooter! She finy brings a pair of gloves, but dad sure needs a pair too!
47. Penelope Catches a Cold
At the kindergarten, a teacher tells children to take care and not to catch cold. Penelope wonders what catching a cold is. On the same day, however, she plays in the rain and gets fever. She finds out that the cold medicine is sweet and tasty, and she can be up and around even with fever. Then her cheeks turns red, and she slumps dizzily. Now she knows about the cold!
48. Penelope Goes to Town
Penelope is going out with her parents. There are different kinds of shop to see; an ice cream shop, a hat shop, and a toy store! It's fun to look around and play with toys. While walking around, they have fun finding different colors on the street. What color does Penelope like? It's green, the color of the menu board at café! After a nice meal, they realize that Doudou is missing.
49. Penelope Exchanges Letters
Penelope exchanges letters with her grandpa. He seems to be enjoying surfing, playing the guitar and picking seashells by the sea. Penelope sends him the drawings of her playing with a cat and jumping in a puddle, which makes grandpa smile. Several days later, Penelope is waiting for his letter, but the postman just passes her home. When she sadly sighs, the doorbell rings. Who could it be?
50. When I Grow Up.
At the kindergarten, Penelope and her friends wonder what they want to be when they grow up. Stromboli wants to be a #1 soccer player. Cesarine wants to be an art teacher. Lili-Rose wants to be the princess of a flower land. Aladin wants to marry his teacher! What does Penelope want to be? She wants to be a wizard and fly! She also wants to be a pirate that hunts for treasures.
51. Penelope and Her Friends in the Summer
While Penelope family is on a summer vacation at plateau, she meets a boy fox, Ulysee and his little sister Alice. They instantly become friends. He asks her to find his treasure that he hid. What would it be? He gives her some clues. "It stretches in and out and sparkles. It's in a red box. Is it a caterpillar? Is it a puddle? She finds a red basket, but it is their lunch!
52. Mom's Birthday
Penelope and her dad plan a birthday surprise for mom. They prepare her favorite meal; beef stew, while she is out. They shop the ingredients and start to cook together. The onion makes dad cry. Where is flour? Let's put some seasonings, and don't forget to make a wish for it to be tasty! Upon mom's arrival, they jump out and say "happy birthday" with a bouquet flowers from their garden!
53. Where Do They Come From?
Penelope wonders where milk comes from. Is there a river of milk? Let's find out at Grandpa's farm! She sees grandpa milking a cow. Now she wonders where eggs come from. It there egg trees? No, chicken lays eggs. How about bread? Does the lady in bakery lay bread? Grandma takes her to their wheat field and explains about how flour is made and then to bread.
54. Penelope in the Pool
Penelope invites her friends and plays in a swimming pool. What does she need in the pool? She picks picture books and plush toy, but finy grabs a swimming tube and rubber duck. They splash and laugh in the pool. It will be great if we put orange juice and crashed ice in the pool, Penelope imagines. Then coincidently, mom brings orange frappe as desert.
