降世神通是由美国尼克国际儿童频道热播动画电视系列集片，其故事具有中国传统的神话色彩，并且人物也极有东方神韵。世界被四大神力（气、火、水、土）支配着，其中被称为“神通”的便是世上唯一同时拥有这四种神力的人，因此他具备拯救世界的能力，在沉寂了一百年之后，卡塔拉和索卡无意中发现了他，卡塔拉敲碎了封在冰球里的他，之后与同伴一同踏上拯救世界的道路。
