Someone Important 有用之才

One day, a young boy told his teacher, "When I grow up, I want to be someone important.
一天，一个小男孩告诉他的老师，"当我长大后，我想成为一个重要的人。"
What will I do?
"我该怎么做?"
The teacher looked at the boy and said, "There are many important people in the world.
老师看着男孩说： "世界上有很多重要的人。"
Some people build bridges and ships.
有些人建造桥梁和船只。
Some people, like doctors, help others.
"有些人，比如医生，帮助别人。"
But then the old teacher said, "I know a very important person.
老师j接着说： "我认识一个非常重要的人。
I have seen a lot of talent in him.
我在他身上看到了很多才能。
This person can do almost anything if he tries his best.
"如果他尽最大努力，这个人几乎可以做任何事。"
"Who is it?" 这人是谁呀?
Is he in my class? "他是我们班的吗？”
the boy asked.男孩问。
"Yes," said the old man." 是的，老师说道。
Then he smiled and said, "It's you.
然后他微笑着说： "这人就是你呀。"
Then the teacher pointed to the other kids in the class and said, "And her, and him and her.
然后老师指着班上的其他孩子说： ”还有她，还有他和她。"
He looked at all the kids and then said, "Not all of you will be famous, but you will all be someone important.
他看着班里所有的孩子，然后说道："不是所有人都会变成名人，但你们都会成为重要人物。"
The kids were amazed by what their teacher had said.
孩子们对老师所说的话感到惊讶。
