The movie "ANGELA'S CHRISTMAS WISH" revolves around Angela and her siblings eagerly anticipating the return of their father (Moe Dunford), who left them to go to Australia two years ago. Determined to take matters into their own hands and create a Christmas surprise for their mother (Ruth Negga), Angela and her brother Pat (Brendan Mullins) devise a plan to bring their father back home. After unsuccessfully attempting to dig a tunnel to Australia, they consider the idea of taking a train, but upon learning that it's not feasible, they decide to opt for a boat trip.
The film closely follows the young ones on their journey as they execute unique ideas, fundraise for the trip, and connect with the daughter of a local veterinarian, Lola Metcalfe, who becomes involved in their plans. What they don't know is that their mother is also planning a special Christmas surprise for them!
